IVAeris Oy carried out a comprehensive ventilation system renovation and optimization at a detached house on Katajanokantie 18 in Inkoo. The project involved converting the original exhaust-only ventilation system, which relied on a roof fan, into a balanced supply and exhaust air ventilation system. During the process, the ventilation ducts were cleaned, insulated, and air volume measurements and adjustments were made once everything was completed.
A new, efficient Enervent Pegasos ventilation unit was installed as part of the project. The unit was placed in the garage, with the ductwork routed through the attic into the house. In the attic, both old and new air ducts were insulated with 100 mm of stone wool insulation, in accordance with current standards.
The Enervent Pegasos ventilation unit is highly energy-efficient, making it an excellent choice for large detached houses as well as public spaces such as schools and daycare centers. The unit features built-in heating and cooling coils, allowing it to recover up to 85% of the heating energy, which significantly reduces heating costs during winter.
Although the project was lengthy and the site was located far from IVAeris Oy’s office, the company was committed to providing the highest level of service and completing the work with professionalism and efficiency. The project was a great success, significantly improving the indoor air quality and energy efficiency of the house.
