We take care of the ventilation cleaning needs and grease duct cleaning for commercial kitchens, because fire safety and hygiene are not things that can be overlooked. A grease duct fire is unfortunately a common occurrence, and neglected cleaning is a direct risk to both fire safety and kitchen hygiene.
In Finland, the law requires that the grease ducts in every commercial kitchen be cleaned at least once a year. This is not optional, but a legal obligation based on the Rescue Act and the Ministry of the Interior’s Regulation No. 802. Neglecting this can lead to fines or, in the worst case, restaurant closure. Regular cleaning is critical in preventing fires and ensuring the safety of your kitchen.
What you get when you order annual cleaning:

What grease duct cleaning does NOT include:
• Repairs and installations (billed separately)

How the service works:
1. Order the service – When you order the annual cleaning, we will contact you to arrange a time that works for you. Cleaning is done on weekdays between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
2. Preparations – We protect your kitchen equipment and ensure that the exhaust system is safely turned off.
3. Cleaning – We clean the canopies and grease ducts using effective agents, and if necessary, we use a grease scraper to remove accumulated grease.
4. Roof fan cleaning – We clean the roof fan both mechanically and chemically from grease.
5. Post-cleaning inspection and documentation – We perform a functional inspection and document the results with before and after photos.
Responsibility of the client:
Ensure that there is unobstructed access to the grease ducts and roof fan throughout the cleaning. If the building management requires a pass or key, make sure these are arranged before the work begins. Note that no refund or free re-cleaning will be offered if cleaning is obstructed due to access issues.

When you order your restaurant’s annual grease duct cleaning from us, we will be immediately notified and get in touch with you to arrange a time that works best for you. Each year, you’ll receive a reminder for the next maintenance, and we will always agree on the best time for cleaning. The order will automatically renew annually until you decide to cancel it. Payment will be automatically charged, so you won’t need to worry about renewing it.
This service is available only in Uusimaa. If your restaurant is located outside of Uusimaa, the order will be canceled, and the payment will be refunded. A processing and refund fee of €120 will apply.
If you need new grease filters, let us know how many and what type of hood they fit, and we’ll arrange them in advance for maintenance. Filters will be billed separately after the service and are not included in the service price.
Important note: Cleaning the hood filters is the responsibility of the restaurant owner – this is not included in the service. Grease accumulated in ducts and devices cannot be completely removed, and that is not the goal. The purpose of the cleaning is to reduce fire safety risks in the professional kitchen, not to restore perfect shine.
The service covers the cleaning of one restaurant hood, grease duct, and roof fan. If your restaurant has multiple hoods, ducts, or fans, select the appropriate quantity when ordering, and we will take care of everything at once. This service is intended for individual restaurants. For restaurant chains or multiple-location orders, the cleaning contract will be arranged separately. Tärkeä huomio: Huuvan suodattimien puhdistus on ravintoloitsijan vastuulla – tätä ei sisällytetä palveluun. Rasvakanaviin ja laitteisiin kiinnittynyttä rasvaa ei ole mahdollista poistaa täysin, eikä se ole tarkoituskaan. Puhdistuksen tavoite on vähentää paloturvallisuusriskiä ammattikeittiössä, ei täydellinen kiillon palauttaminen.
Palvelu kattaa yhden ravintolan huuvan, rasvakanavan ja huippuimurin puhdistuksen. Jos ravintolassasi on useampia huuvia, rasvakanavia tai huippuimureita, valitse tilauksen yhteydessä oikea määrä, niin hoidamme kaiken kerralla. Tämä palvelu on suunnattu yksittäisille ravintoloille.
